Taguig City Intensifies Vaccination Rollout Amidst ECQ

With the COVID-19 Delta Variant making its presence known, the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) called for an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila including Taguig City from August 6 to 20, 2021 to mitigate the quick spread of the virus.

Despite the limitations posed by ECQ, the City Government of Taguig strengthens its COVID-19 response measures. The local government assures the continuous and strict observance of the minimum public health standards, and massive vaccination rollout through the 12 vaccination hubs located in strategic locations around the city.

To further advocate for this campaign, home vaccination for bedridden Taguigeños and the pop-up vaccination buses for vulnerable communities will continue.

The Taguig community also commends all those who are in the forefront in our fight against COVID-19, our brave healthcare workers and vaccination teams, for committing themselves in service for Taguigeños.

Now more than ever, we need each other’s support and cooperation. No one is safe until everyone is vaccinated.
